She began his undergraduate studies at Istanbul Technical University in the Department of Industrial Engineering. She then continued his master's degree in Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University. She completed his doctorate at Académie de Grenoble in France, deepening her knowledge and skills in industrial engineering throughout his education.
She started his academic career in 1994 as a Research Assistant at Galatasaray University and obtained the title of Professor in 2009. During this period, in addition to mentoring students, she has held various academic positions.
In addition to her academic career, she has played an active role in many projects. These projects include collaborations with various institutions and projects from Académie de Grenoble in France to Boğaziçi University in Turkey, from Istanbul Technical University to Galatasaray University. She has led studies on the modeling and analysis of digital systems, as well as the design and analysis of intelligent systems.
Furthermore, she has authored numerous articles published in prestigious journals indexed in SCI, SSCI, and AHCI. Notable articles include topics such as "Digital Transformation in Education: A Systematic Review of Education 4.0" and "Influential Factor Analysis for Cloud Computing Technology Service Provider."
With a total of 224 publications, 6717 Web of Science (WoS) citations, 8499 Scopus citations, and high H-Index values, she continues to contribute to research in the fields of industrial engineering, engineering, and technology. She currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Galatasaray University. Within the scope of the Blue-Green Transformation: Marmara project, he guides sectors in their journeys toward a circular economy.
